Welcome to Reading While Black Book Club, a cross platform, online group and podcast where we dissect and discuss African American Literature. We select a novels penned by authors of color and discuss their writing process, purpose of the novel and celebrate Black literary art. Reading While Black promotes reading as a self help tool for better mental health. We believe in selecting books by US with US in mind while also providing a safe space where individuals can speak about their experiences in this world while Black and tell their stories.
